Tamarza

This mountain oasis, located 70 km away from Tozeur and close to the Algerian border is not a mirage but a miracle. Breaking with the image of the oasis surrounded by dunes, Tamerza is embedded in a steep and wild area. Clear water cascades feed the courses that irrigate the park and to visit it you follow a shaded route and discover gushing springs, at the end of a gravel road. It is better not to go alone, but with travel agents who have adequate vehicles and guides familiar with the grounds.
